AIM gala fuels hope and inclusion for autism community
Autism in Mind (AIM) Children’s Charity will host its 7th annual gala, Dream Beyond Limits, on November 22 at the Angus Glen Golf Club.
Proceeds will support AIM’s subsidy therapy program, which helps families facing financial challenges access autism therapies, and also supports the beginning development of a group home for neurodivergent adults.
Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live entertainment and inspiring guest speakers.
“The Dream Beyond Limits Gala is more than just a fundraising event—it’s a catalyst for change. It brings together families, professionals, educators, advocates, and business leaders to collectively champion a more inclusive future for individuals with autism,” founder Suki Choi said. “For many families, this event symbolizes hope—hope that their children will have not only access to support, but also opportunities to thrive as valued members of the community.”
Choi highlights what attendees will take away: “We hope attendees and supporters leave the event with a deeper understanding of both the challenges and the untapped potential within the autistic community. Our goal is to inspire action—whether through advocacy, inclusive hiring, volunteering, or partnership.”
Founded in 2011, AIM began with supporting families struggling to find access to autism therapy and navigating social stigma. Over time, AIM has grown into a registered charity that offers a range of services, including a private special needs school, individual therapy, vocational training programs, and community support for families and children.
