Kindness Circle hosts inaugural awards gala Nov. 7

The Kindness Circle (KC) will host its inaugural community awards on November 7 at Crystal Fountain Event Venue. The event will honour individuals, communities, and businesses who make a difference through acts of kindness.

Established on February 17, 2023 — Random Acts of Kindness Day — KC’s mission is to help build a community of individuals who are passionate about spreading kindness. Members participate in kindness activities to help themselves and others.

“Being involved in The Kindness Circle creates a ripple effect of positivity,” KC founder Marcia Agius says. “Members not only uplift others through small and meaningful acts of kindness but also nurture their own well-being, build authentic connections, and contribute to a stronger, more compassionate community. The impact goes beyond the individual — together, we’re creating a culture where kindness is celebrated, shared and multiplied.”

The evening will feature an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding individuals who contribute to their communities. The evening will also include dinner, engaging speeches, networking opportunities and a silent auction.

“This event uplifts those who thrive by helping others, strengthens community bonds, and reminds us all that kindness is a powerful force that can transform lives and create lasting change,” adds Agius.

KC supports a number of different charities. This particular event will be in support of the Ontario Tech University Women in STEM Scholarship.
