YRP seek assistance identifying a woman who appears to be non-verbal

Officers working out of York Regional Police #2 District are seeking public assistance to help identify a woman who was found in the City of Richmond Hill.

On March 27 at 9:20 a.m., police were called to the area of Atkinson Road and Centre Street for a report of an unknown woman who had been found by a concerned citizen.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the woman who was not dressed for the weather and appeared to have been outdoors for some time. She appears to be non-verbal, and officers have been unable to determine her identity.

Officers have ensured her safety and well-being but are appealing to the public for information on her identity and are seeking family members or caregivers. Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

She is white with a thin build, 5’7″. She has blue eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair.
