Park and Play Fun Tour returns
Grab your sunscreen, hat and filled water bottle and join the City of Markham’s Park and Play Fun Tour at a park near you.
The Park and Play Fun Tour is a travelling trailer that goes to community parks all over the city, delivering free activities and games for kids aged four to 12 years.
From Giant Jenga, splash pad and mini sports games like mini putt, mini soccer and mini hockey to park activities and inflatable ride-on animals, the tour promises something for everyone regardless of background or ability.
The Park and Play Fun Tour will be at different parks on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting July 9 and will be weather permitting. It kicks off at Milliken Mills Park at 4375 14th Ave., followed July 16 at Grandview Park at 135 Doncaster Ave., July 23 at Victoria Square Park at 2929 Elgin Mills Rd., July 30 at Crosby Park at 210 Main St. in Unionville, August 6 at Morgan Park at 11 Parkway Ave., Aug. 13 at Cornell Community Park at 371 Cornell Centre Blvd., August 20 at Berczy Park South at 432 Wilfred Murison Ave. and August 27 Celebration Park at 135 Karachi Dr.
Locations are subject to change at any time. Follow the City of Markham on social media and check its website often for updates on where the tour will be next. The Park and Play Fun Tour also offers opportunities to volunteer. Click here to learn more about volunteering with the city.
