Noodles & Needles brings spring creativity to Markham

Noodles & Needles Market will host its sixth market, debuting its Colorlicious Bloom into Creativity Spring Market on March 28 at Markham Wesley Centre from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Noodles & Needles was born from a personal desire to bridge my Hong Kong heritage with my life here in Toronto, and seeing that connection come to life is incredibly moving,” says Noodles & Needles founder Marcella Chan. “By providing a high-visibility platform for over 40 creators, we aren’t just hosting a market; we are building a supportive ecosystem where artisans can turn their creative passions into lasting relationships with their neighbours. It is about creating a space where expats and locals alike feel a sense of belonging through shared culture and artistry.”

The spring market will feature a vibrant mix of vendors offering unique stationery, artwork, jewellery, vinyl, handmade accessories, culinary treats, home décor, and more. Visitors can also enjoy interactive experiences, including pastel drawing workshops, photo opportunities, and a DIY scented sachet station.

“People should come to this market to experience the pulse of Toronto’s local talent in a way that feels intimate and joyful,” Chan says. “You’re coming for the vibrant energy, the chance to ‘Bloom into Creativity,’ and the pleasant, lasting memories of a community coming together to celebrate the start of spring.”
