Markham Pan Am Centre hosts world-class badminton athletes
Badminton Canada invites the community to cheer on top athletes at the 2024 Yonex Canadian International Challenge, where 200 competitors from 30 countries will vie for a $15,000 USD prize. The tournament highlights Canadian talent, including local Olympians Michelle Li and Brian Yang.
“Badminton Canada is excited for the return of the 2024 Canadian International Challenge,” said Bryan Merret, executive director of Badminton Canada. “We are thrilled to be back working with the Markham Pan Am Centre and their professional staff. If you want to see Canadian National team members, get your tickets and join us for some live action.”
The event runs from December 3 to 8, starting daily at 4 p.m. at the Markham Pan Am Centre. On December 4, kids get free admission.
