M4M charity run returns to support MSH

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) will host its 3rd Annual Mercy 4 Mankind (M4M) charity run on Sept. 28 at Wismer Park, with proceeds supporting Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH).

M4M is a charitable initiative under AMYA, an organization committed to delivering humanitarian aid and promoting compassion, kindness, and positive change in communities.

“Run for Markham is a powerful demonstration of community spirit and collective impact. By supporting the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, the event transforms individual participation into meaningful support for local health care,” said run director Salman Rehan. “It brings residents together around a shared goal—ensuring quality care for everyone in the community—and reinforces the message that Markham takes care of its own.”

This year’s race options include a 5-km run, 3-km run/walk, and a 1-km family-fun walk. Medals will be awarded to top finishers.

Registration starts at 7:30, followed by the opening ceremony at 9 a.m. and the run starts at 9:30 a.m.

Along with community participants, there will be city councillors, MSH Foundation representatives, and members of the fire and police departments.
