International Women’s Day Conference returns to Markham
Authentically Evolving (AE) will mark International Women’s Day with its fifth annual conference on March 7, bringing together women from across the community for a full day of inspiration, learning, and connection at the Rouge River Community Centre in Markham. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Recognized globally on March 8, International Women’s Day celebrates the achievements of women while encouraging empowerment and meaningful change. AE’s annual conference aligns with that mission by creating a space for education, networking, and community-building.
The day will feature up to 15 vendors, including jewellers, artisans, food vendors, and service providers, along with a fashion show by Eleven Joseph Fashions. Attendees can also expect inspiring speakers, salsa dancing, networking opportunities, and a buffet lunch.
AE founder Sylvia Calleri, a Certified Life Mastery Consultant and professional speaker, supports individuals through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and retreats focused on transformational growth for women.
“The speakers educate and challenge attendees to live the best version of themselves. Giving them the tools to take home and take the next steps to take action. Their lessons and personal stories resonate with many women who may be in the same situation and help them know that they are not alone. Attendees walk away with a sense of belonging and community,” says Calleri.
A portion of ticket sales will support SoloMama LaunchPad (SMLP), a non-profit organization that helps single mothers start their own businesses.
