Markham Little Theatre produces Canada’s Biggest Thriller

To celebrate Canada 150, Markham Little Theatre (MLT) chose to produce an entire season of Canadian works. After a brief holiday break, their third offering is a comedic thriller called, “I’ll Be Back Before Midnight.” The show, written in 1980 for the Blyth Theatre Festival, went on to be the most successful play ever staged in Canada and the most produced Canadian play in the world. Students to present Sondheim fairy tale musical

It has been said that fairy tales aren’t for children, and they exist to help adults understand what they’ve made of the world. If this is true, then what better voices to tell these stories than a group of kids on the verge of making adult lives of their own?
