Despite the City of Markham not completely opening up for events, special dispensation has been given to allow the annual Remembrance ceremony at the Markham Cenotaph on the Southeast corner of Highway 7 and Markham Rd. on Saturday November 6th, hosted by the Markham District Veteran Association.
While the gathering will forego the usual march of members from the Vet’s club on Washington St., a full service of remembrance and appreciation for those who have sacrificed and those that still serve will begin at 10:30 am at the cenotaph.
The public is welcome to attend.
