Toy drive spreads holiday cheer

Santa and his helpers will collect toys for the Salvation Army and CTV’s Toy Mountain, helping families in need experience the magic of the holiday season.

Local organizers Danny Fantini and Lori Manserra, dedicated supporters of this cause for the past five years, encourage everyone to join in the spirit of giving.

Every child deserves to feel the magic of Christmas. When you place a toy on Santa’s fire truck, you contribute to the spirit of joy.

Visit Santa at the Pride of Canada Carousel (corner of Birchmount Rd. and Enterprise Blvd) on December 21 and 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who bring a toy to donate will enjoy a free carousel ride.

For a special treat, tune in to CTV News live at the carousel on December 19 at 6 p.m. to see the community’s generosity in action.
