Markham Home for the Holidays
The Markham Home for the Holidays Show, held November 15–17 at the Markham Fairgrounds, celebrated its 37th year of bringing the community together to embrace the Christmas spirit.
Over 130 exhibitors offered various festive goods, including Christmas accessories, home furnishings, ceramics, candles, jewellery, sweet treats, and more.
Adding to the holiday magic, Victorian Carolers and Santa Claus greeted guests as they strolled through the festive maze of booths.
Popular exhibitors, like Fraktals, known for their handmade Belgian chocolate, drew long lines. Mary Anne Wilson, a sales associate for Fraktals, shared, “The show provides an impact for Fraktals’ chocolate business, sales, and brand awareness.”
Debra Grose, the Markham Home for the Holidays Show producer, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are a family-oriented Christmas tradition. Families shop together, buy presents, have a good time, and everybody wishes everyone a Merry Christmas as one big family.”
The event was a heartwarming success. It showcased the spirit of the season and facilitated connections between businesses and the community.
