Talent show highlights local talent

The 2nd Unionville Summer Talent Show was organized and hosted by the J.A. Children’s Public Foundation (JACPF).

The Markham non-profit organization, established in March 2022, was founded by teen presidents Alysha Xu and Julia Guzman.

Singing, dancing, instrumental performances, poetry, and even a catwalk show were among the features in the show held on July 16 at the Splendid China Mall.

MPP Billy Pang attended the event and presented the event organizers with a Certificate of Recognition as community leaders and contributions to the community.

Pang wrote lyrics and sang a live song, creating a harmonious atmosphere with the residents.

All the performers were community residents from various age groups. The event lasted about four hours and all the participants were happy as the event was a huge success.
