Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival returns
The Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival returns to the Aaniin Community Centre on September 4 with activities and live entertainment for the whole family.
The following are all free and do not require the purchase of a Play-All-Day Pass: a building block area, arts and crafts, STEM and interactive activities, sensory tables, recreation trailer, magic show, science show, animal education show, and more.
If you’re looking for even more fun and access to rides and inflatables, you will need to purchase a Play-All-Day Pass.
There will be a variety of delicious food options available for purchase at the festival, including ice cream, corn, Greek food, poutine, sausages, french fries, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and more.
Remember to bring a reusable water bottle to fill up outside at the water refill station or inside the Aaniin Community Centre’s water refill stations.
There is no parking at Aaniin Community Centre on September 7, except for designated accessible parking spots. Free parking is available at Milliken Mills Community Centre, where you can access the free shuttle service (which will run every 30 minutes) to and from the festival. Free parking is also available at Middlefield Collegiate Institute.
