Markham company nominated for manufacturing award

An electronic manufacturing and design services company is among the nominees for the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters’ (CME) inaugural Ontario Made Awards.

Microart Services Inc. recently relocated to a new facility in Markham after outgrowing its previous space even amid the pandemic. Its new facility includes warehousing, supply chain solutions, mechanical box build, test development and design services so it can better meet its clients’ turnkey assembly requirements.

CME is a non-profit business association that represents over 2,500 leading manufacturers across the country to help their businesses grow. Award nominees are Ontario manufacturers and retailers that help consumers make informed decisions in increasing the sale and awareness of Ontario-made products.

“Celebrating and promoting local manufacturing is what Ontario Made is all about. CME could not be prouder to represent the massive variety of the amazing, innovative products that Ontarians make and sell,” says Mathew Wilson, CME’s Senior Vice President, Policy, Government Relations & Ontario Division.

Consumers can vote for their favourite manufacturer and retailer until January 7 by visiting this link. With each vote, you’re entered to win one of five $100 gift cards to a registered Ontario Made manufacturer of your choice. Award winners will be announced at Ontario Made’s Virtual Awards Ceremony on February 24.
