Boutique champions Canadian designers

Lemonwood Luxury, a chain of natural apparel and accessories boutiques, is celebrating its Unionville Grand Opening on March 12 at its newest location located at 193 Main Street.

Celebrations begin at noon and will continue throughout the weekend and over the balance of the ensuing week with hot chocolate, Scandinavian Butter cookies and many other complimentary treats, not to mention grand opening special pricing on all collections.

Markham Town Crier John Webster, as well as other dignitaries, will be present on March 13 from noon onwards to welcome Lemonwood and have pictures taken with the kids.

The company’s retailing philosophy is “elegance and simplicity” on all levels – Scandinavian inspired boutiques that are built around all fibres wonderfully natural, including cashmere (over 100 different styles and 80 different colours of poncho wraps, scarves, shawls, sweaters and more), Italian linens, silks and bamboo and rounded out by beautiful clothing accessories, all curated from around the world.

Founder Christine Peters is passionate about luxurious fabrics that tickle the senses, affordable luxuries sourced directly from proprietary manufacturers, where possible from women-owned businesses crafting aligned clothing and accessories, championing Canadian designers and keenly focused on sustainability such as natural dyes, recycled and organic materials.
