2026 YCDSB top scholars
The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) is proud to announce its top scholars for 2026. Four of them achieved a grade point average of 100%.
Markham had a strong number of students qualifying among the highest averages, including Artus Siu and Jet Lui from St. Augustine CHS, Bentley Wei-Che Huang from St. Brother Andre CHS, and Ruchi Miten Shah from Father Michael McGivney CA, who all graduated with 99+% averages.
“Congratulations to the YCDSB’s Top Scholars and to all of our graduates,” said Jennifer Sarna, YCDSB Interim Chief Executive Officer. “Every day, the YCDSB’s staff have the privilege of working with incredible young people who want to use their God-given talents to make the world a better place. These students are wonderful examples of what is possible when a community comes together to support a child’s education.”
YCDSB Top Scholars are students who held the highest grade point average in their respective schools, based on their top six grade 12 courses.
