Unionville fire closes Carlton Rd for hours

Emergency crews responded to a house fire on Chambery Crescent this morning, near the Unionville Public Library.

All three occupants were transported to hospital, two with serious injuries.

Multiple homes were evacuated.

The blaze prompted the closure of Carlton Road for several hours, causing traffic backups on Kennedy Rd.

Witnesses reported seeing multiple emergency vehicles, including fire, police, and paramedic vehicles, responding to the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
