Budding journalists and visual artists are invited to showcase their talents in the Markham Youth Magazine.
The Markham Public Library is now accepting submissions for the youth-led magazine, which is a platform for youth ages 10 to 18 years to share everything from writing to visual art.
You can submit up to two pieces a year: one piece of writing of up to 500 words and one visual piece. Artwork that’s submitted in conjunction with writing will be considered separately.
“Our principles include promoting diversity, encouraging young local talent, and making sure that everyone has their voice heard,” the Library says.
