A leading provider of emergency roadside assistance and call centre services is among Great Place to Work’s 2021 list of Best Workplaces for Women.
Markham-based Xperigo manages customer experiences for more than 40 automotive brands in North America using an integrated service delivery platform that provides real-time access to a variety of automotive mobility services.
Great Place to Work is a global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures. Organizations on the Best Workplaces for Women list must be Great Place to Work-Certified in the past year, headquartered in Canada and at least 90 per cent of employees must agree that people are treated fairly, regardless of their gender.
In March, Xperigo President and CEO Dan Turner signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles established by the UN Global Compact and UN Women but the company’s commitment to gender equality goes beyond that.
“Our entire senior leadership team is committed to taking the necessary actions to continually advance gender equality,” Talent & Culture Vice-President Shelly Cohen-Bhamani says. “With over 50 per cent of our team members being female, it is critical that equal access is provided to women for professional development and career progression opportunities at Xperigo.”
Known as Club Auto Roadside Services Ltd. until its rebrand in 2019, Xperigo also has a location in Moncton, N.B. It was named one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2020 by Waterstone Human Capital, a human capital management consulting firm. Have Fun is one of its corporate values.
