Markham actor stars in Daniel and the Fiery Furnace

Markham actor Mena Massoud continues his flourishing film career, now starring in Daniel and the Fiery Furnace.

The film is an epic live-action biblical drama that brings the prophet Daniel’s origin story to life against the backdrop of exile in Babylon. The film hits select theatres September 18.

Massoud has also appeared in other popular films, including his portrayal of Aladdin in Disney’s Live Action Aladdin, Hulu Original Reprisal, and the popular Netflix rom-com The Royal Treatment.

Massoud is also proudly headlining the first-ever FECC Gala, taking place on September 10. A world-class celebration dedicated entirely to honouring Canadian cinema, television, and screen talent.
