Make art in the park with Art Boxes

Varley Art Gallery of Markham invites you to get creative this summer with Art Boxes, available for rent from June to September.

The boxes are perfect for families, couples, friends or solo artists looking to unleash their creativity, the Gallery says.

Each box contains all the art supplies needed for an outdoor en plein air adventure. Rent one for $12.50 plus a security deposit and head out to historic Main Street Unionville or Toogood Pond to make your masterpiece.

The Art Boxes are available on a first come, first served basis. They’re available now through September 7, excluding Unionville Festival weekend, which runs June 6 to 7. To inquire about availability or request a rental, speak to the front desk staff at the Gallery, located at 216 Main St., Unionville.
