York Region is getting back to business and will be sending summer students to your business to conduct an employment survey that was put on hold over for the past two years because of the pandemic.
Take five minutes to speak with the representatives about your business, employees and the work you do and your business will receive a free listing in York’s Business Directory.
The directory is the most comprehensive list of businesses within the Region and will ensure your business is listed as an official organization. An interactive map allows people to search and view businesses in several different ways.
The Region will use the information gathered in the door-to-door survey to create business attraction and retention strategies, map out infrastructure and service requirements. In turn, that will support and drive economic vitality in York. If you miss the summer students or don’t have a chance to complete the survey in person, you can complete it online at york.ca/employmentsurvey.
