Backpack Project event at the historic Heintzman House

You won’t want to miss out on the festive Caribbean culture and cuisine while learning about what the Backpack Project organization has done over the past year, and the plans to continue to assist Caribbean children and children of the Caribbean diaspora here in the GTA, with their health and education. 

Since 2008, The Backpack Project (non-profit organization) has distributed backpacks with stationary and personal health items to school age children in various Caribbean countries including Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, and in the GTA.
