Build connections through grief
With the warm summer, when enjoyment seems to come easily for most, some are dealing with the loss of loved ones and the challenges that lie ahead.
Evergreen Care is here for people who are struggling. Throughout July, there are a number of events to connect with others.
On July 13, the Evergreen Walking Club will hold its monthly walk at 10 a.m.
This program is followed by an in-person session at Aaniin Community Centre at 6 p.m that teaches how to help someone who is grieving.
Evergreen is holding a virtual Death Cafe on July 20, which is a common event that invites anyone, often strangers, to share tea and cake and talk about death. Despite its name, it’s a great opportunity to share what is otherwise difficult to discuss.
Finally, Evergreen is hosting a game night on the 23rd that helps explore wishes, values, and beliefs through interactive, thought-provoking games.
