Aviva Canada among Best Workplaces for Women

Aviva Canada in Markham is a dual winner. It is among both Great Place to Work®’s 2026 Best Workplaces™ for Women and Best Workplaces™ Led by Women in Canada.

These organizations foster cultures of respect, offering growth opportunities, work-life balance and leadership roles that elevate women at all levels. By championing gender equity, they create spaces where diverse perspectives are celebrated, innovation is encouraged and success is shared by all.

To be eligible for the list, at least 90 per cent of survey respondents must agree with the statement, “People are treated fairly regardless of their gender. Also, at least 50 female employees must have completed the survey.

The Best Workplaces™ Led by Women, meanwhile, are organizations where women hold senior leadership roles and foster environments where diversity, equity and opportunity thrive. These leaders champion inclusive policies, nurture talent, and break barriers, creating workplaces where all employees – especially women – feel supported and empowered to succeed. To be eligible for the list, the organization’s Canadian president or CEO must identify as female.
