Markham man drowns in boating incident
A 63-year-old male from Markham drowned in a boating incident on Lake Muskoka.
On Saturday, July 18, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a boater who had fallen overboard and failed to resurface.
His body was recovered by the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit following the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP Marine Unit assisted Bracebridge OPP with the response effort.
