Park and Play Fun Tour is back this summer
The City of Markham’s Park and Play Fun Tour, a travelling trailer that serves up free activities and games, will be visiting neighbourhood parks across the city again this summer.
Designed for children ages four to 12 years, the drop-in program offers games and hands-on activities such as inflatable ride-on animals, bubbles, mini sports, giant games, a playground and more.
The Park and Play Fun Tour will be at different parks on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be weather permitting. It kicks off July 8 at Milliken Mills Park at 4375 14th Ave., followed by Grandview Park at 135 Doncaster Ave. on July 15, Victoria Square Park at 2929 Elgin Mills Rd. on July 22 and Crosby Park at 210 Main St., Unionville on July 29.
Next up is Morgan Park at 11 Parkway Ave. on August 5, Cornell Community Park at 371 Cornell Centre Blvd. on August 12, Berczy Park South at 432 Wilfred Murison Ave. on August 19 and Celebration Park at 135 Karachi Dr. on August 26.
