Yellow daffodils could save lives

Raising awareness and raising funds in the fight against cancer can be as easy as buying special pins for Daffodil Month.

The Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Month is an annual April event where anyone can lend a hand.

Today, over 60 per cent of Canadians diagnosed with cancer will survive at least five years following a diagnosis, compared to 25 per cent in the 1940s. 

Unfortunately, the number of cancer cases is expected to rise, and that’s why every day people like you are always needed to help.
