The Wonderful World of Circus is a Markham-based circus group that puts on shows, camps, parties and workshops for children and families. It is a family-run business overseen by Oleg Kantemirov and Tatiana Zoubrilina.

The troupe began performing in Moscow and have done some performing for Cirque du Soleil as well.  A few of their students have also gone on to perform in the Cirque du Soleil.

In terms of classes, they provide classes for introductory, intermediate and advanced students and teach a range of skills in gymnastics, acrobatics, aerial gymnastics, trampoline as well as various specialized circus disciplines, such as Aerial Hoop, Trapeze (Swinging, Static), Spanish Web (Single & Double), Aerial Straps, Aerial Silks, Cor de Volan, Chinese Pole, Russian Bar, Roman Rings, Circus Rings, Vault, Trampoline, Balance Balls, Unicycles and Tightrope.

Performances also include dogs and birds (mostly pigeons and poodles) which they have trained themselves.

One of the things they enjoy the most is the fact that it is enjoyment in a non-competitive environment, right in the heart of Markham, where they have been for over 20 years.

The next shows are on October 26 and 27, December 21 and 22, and January 4.
