Markham Public Library will be holding the fifth annual University and College Fair on Oct. 13 at the Angus Glen Library.

Each year, hundreds of York Region residents attend the fair to scout out prospective schools, learn about education opportunities and interact with representatives from institutions across Canada. Representatives from University of Toronto, Queen’s, Waterloo, York, Brock, Trent, Laurentian, Windsor, Acadia, Cape Breton and Niagara will be attending as well as colleges like Seneca, Durham and Guelph-Humber.

The fair takes place from noon to 3 p.m. Additionally, this year, Christopher Grafos, BridgesEDU founder, will be presenting a workshop on Five Myths that Hinder Student Success in University at the fireside lounge from 2-3 p.m. Registration is not required and there’s no charge for entry or participation.
