Union Villa gets new garden

Union Villa residents get to enjoy a beautiful new garden in the Resident Courtyard. The flowers were purchased and planted with funds from a memorial gift from the Tidball family.

CEO Debra Cooper Burger and board chair Glenn Crosby held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception to celebrate the Tidball family’s generous support on August 2.

Michelle Tidball spoke of her late mother, Florence Burns, who was a resident at Union Villa and enjoyed the Courtyard’s pleasant atmosphere.

“Thank you so much for the care and effort you put into the memorial garden project and the dedication for my mother. The work that you all do to build a caring and supportive atmosphere for the residents is so important and greatly appreciated. It brings me great comfort to think of the residents and their families and staff enjoying this revitalized space that my mother and I enjoyed so much when she was living at Union Villa,” said Tidball.
