Trudeau Makes Special Stop in Markham to Support Liberal Candidate

March 31 – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, made a special stop in Markham-Thornhill this afternoon to support Mary Ng on her campaign trail leading up to the Apr. 3 by-election. The federal MP candidate was joined by the PM at Fancy Chinese Cuisine for dim sum with local families and volunteers.

Earlier in the day, the pair also visited with local Tamil community leaders from the Markham-Thornhill area. Ng will go head to head with candidates from the Conservative, NDP, and Libertarian parties for the post left vacant by John McCallum, Canada’s new Ambassador to China.
