A tire iron was used to smash a glass showcase in a jewellery store heist at Promenade Mall in Vaughan.
On Sunday, Aug. 12 at about 1:10 p.m., three men entered the store, looked at several items and left without purchasing anything, York Regional Police report. The suspects returned a few minutes later with their hoods up, one with a tire iron used to smash the showcase. They took several items and fled the store. No one was injured.
The first suspect is described as black; five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie over a white T-shirt, grey sweatpants, white running shoes and a black baseball hat. He was armed with a tire iron.
The second suspect is described as black, about five feet, seven inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, a black hoodie, black sweat pants, white and black running shoes, a black baseball hat and gloves. The third suspect is described as white, about five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, black sweat pants, white running shoes and a gold watch.
