Suspects, BMW SUV sought after carjacking

A 33-year-old Oshawa man is uninjured following a carjacking in which a man pointed a gun at him while he was sitting in his SUV at the Pacific Mall.

The incident took place on Sunday, Nov. 3, shortly before 8 p.m., in the parking lot at the mall at 4300 Steeles Ave., York Regional Police report. The victim complied with the suspect’s demands to get out of his vehicle. The suspect and another man then got into the vehicle and drove away.

The first suspect is about six feet tall with a slim build and dark skin. He was armed with a handgun and wearing a bandana over his face. No description for the second suspect is available. The stolen vehicle is a white 2015 BMW X5 with the licence plate CHXV606.
