Shots fired at Markham home in targeted incident

Two suspects fired multiple shots at a Markham home on Jan. 31 before driving away in what police are calling a “targeted” incident.

York Regional Police have released a dramatic 33-second surveillance video of the incident in a bid to identify the suspects.

A red or orange compact four-door sedan, carrying at least three men, pulled up in front a residence on Macklin Street near McCowan Road and Highglen Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. on Jan. 31. A man wearing dark clothing with a hood got out of the vehicle and began firing shots at the home. A second suspect fired shots from inside the car before the vehicle drove away. No one was physically injured, police report.
