A 42-year-old Richmond Hill man, taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing at a coffee shop, is expected to survive. A second victim, a 29-year-old man, also from Richmond Hill, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
York Regional Police were called to the coffee shop, near Bayview Avenue just north of Hwy. 7, on July 18 at around 9 p.m. and found two men suffering from stab wounds. Officers unsuccessfully searched the area for the suspect, who was not known to the victims.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 22 years and six feet tall. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a black-hooded vest.
