Markham young professionals recognized

The Markham Board of Trade has announced the final list of nominees for the fifth annual Young Professionals Networking ASPIRE (Achieving Social and Professional Ideals, Reaching Excellence) awards, recognizing outstanding business people under the age of 40.

Nominations for the awards were open earlier this year to any young professional who works within the City of Markham area. To qualify, nominees must demonstrate business success, community involvement, as well as being a role model and inspiration to others.

The nominees are: Christine Allum, CAA South Central Ontario; Brittany Charlton, OHH Products; Arthur Cheung, Valuation Support Partners; Jonathan Greenbaum, BDO Canada; Horia Ispas, Environmental Infrastructure Solutions; Chris Jones, Williams and Partners; Anita Ko, Saint Elizabeth Health Care; Lucia Mariani, Feast Interactive; Andre McCalmont, Freedom 55; and Jacky Su, Besify Inc.

Three nominees will be presented with awards at the annual event, to be held on Oct. 5 at the Seneca College Markham campus.
