Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the in-person Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival, presented by Tim Hortons, has been cancelled for 2020. In order to ensure kids and families in our community can continue to make memories in Markham this summer, the City of Markham has launched Millie’s Summer Fun Kit, compliments of Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival, to keep the spirit of the event alive and continue to connect the community.
Tim Hortons, the Festival’s longtime presenting sponsor, is extending their support to this new initiative, and Bell and TD Bank have come aboard as Fun Kit sponsors.
Millie’s Summer Fun Kit launched today, and new material will be introduced over the summer at markham.ca/ChildrensFestival.
Kids will be able to enjoy the summer with Millie, the Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival butterfly mascot, through games, crafts, cooking, music, dance, reading, exploring, activities and more.
