A 20-year-old Markham man has been charged in connection with several incidents of harassment and indecent acts in the Thornhill area.
York Regional Police responded to the Willowbrook Road area at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 25, following reports that a man had exposed himself, first to a child walking her dog and then to a mother and a child a few moments later. Police later identified the suspect and linked him with previous incidents of criminal harassment and indecent acts that took place between Feb. 24 and March 16.
Viththagan Kamalendiren was charged, on March 16, with four counts of indecent acts, two counts of indecent exposure to a person aged under 16 and two counts of criminal harassment. The accused will appear in Newmarket court on April 10.
