Members of the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation’s MSH Leaders know how to give back to the community and have fun at the same time.
MSH Leaders is a group of young community volunteers focused on increasing awareness and raising funds for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Formed in 2011, this group was established to complement the extensive and comprehensive MSH Foundation fundraising program. The MSH Leaders were created specifically for and from professionals aged 30 – 50 years who are dedicated to the communities of Markham and Stouffville.
Each year, this group heads to Woodbine Racetrack for a Night at the Races and know it is a sure bet that they will have fun while raising money for our local hospital.
These leaders have been supporting the hospital for seven years. Whether winning or losing their horse race bets, they know we are all winners when we support a healthy community.
“It’s a great night at the races, networking with young professionals and community supporters alike. We are so pleased to have CIBC join us as our Lead Sponsor this year along with CIBC Wood Gundy – Harrison Financial Group as a returning top sponsor for this event,” said Chair, MSH Leaders, Eddie Mariani.
Tickets for $125 each and other sponsorship opportunities are still available and the group is looking for local residents to either support the event by attending or generously supporting.
The event is set for Wednesday, Sept. 20 and seating is limited.
