Learn more about program for artistic students

Artistically-talented students passionate about dance, drama, visual arts or music can develop their skills in a welcoming and supportive environment through the York Region District School Board (YRDSB) Secondary Arts Program.

The intensive arts program offers a package of specialized arts credits that count toward a student’s high school diploma. Students can apply to one of the arts program disciplines, including dance, drama, visual arts and music (vocal and instrumental). Some schools offer piano, string and theatre technology.

Following is a list of the four YRDSB high schools that offer the Secondary Arts Program, along with the date and location of each school’s information session.
