As more seniors are choosing to remain in their own home, their safety is quite often top of mind for their loved ones. But spotting the warning signs that they may be struggling can be quite difficult.
Hospice Vaughan will be hosting a free workshop aimed at helping those identify those warning signs, and potential dangers in the home for seniors. The workshop will also discuss simple ways to make the lives of those independent seniors easier, and learning about considerations needed for seniors with special care needs such as Alzheimer’s.
This workshop is open to all volunteers and all community members.
The workshop will be held at Hospice Vaughan, located at 31 Woodbridge Ave, Woodbridge on January 30thfrom 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Those planning to attend are asked to register by calling 905-850-6626 ext. 209, or to respond via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by January 28th.
