Mark Cullen, Canada’s favourite gardening expert and best-selling author, will be the highlight of this year’s Garden by the Greens lunch-and-learn fundraiser event on May 3 at Angus Glen Golf Club.
Cullen reaches more than two million Canadians every week through various media outlets including his gardening show, The Green File, and his gardening column for the Toronto Star.
He has written more than 20 books, including his most recent, The New Canadian Garden, which will be available for purchase at the event. Fifty per cent of the proceeds will be donated to Union Villa long-term care home.
Kate Seaver of Kate’s Garden will be the emcee. The afternoon includes a garden marketplace, live floral demonstration and finishes with lunch and Mark Cullen as the keynote speaker. Tickets are $50 each. For more information or to order tickets, call 905-477-2822.
