The Markham Mayor’s Youth Council presents its new winter event, Frostbites! This fun-filled evening takes place on December 7th from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at the Markham Civic Centre and features activities such as skating, cookie decorating, and a gingerbread house decorating competition! The competition starts at 6:00 pm and you can enter for a chance to win a Felix and Norton Cookie bouquet and Retea Cups (reusable bubble tea cups). MMYC is a subsidiary of the Markham City Council comprised of a team of talented and hardworking youth, Markham Councillors, and the Mayor of Markham. These youth leaders are representatives from High Schools all around Markham that are dedicated to creating engaging initiatives to bring the community together and being the voice of the youth in Markham.
