Summer Jukebox Fest was a HIT

Live performances, demonstrations, balloons, henna, Top 40 hits and FREE FOOD were all the rage at yesterdays’ Summer Jukebox fest. The afternoon event was hosted by the Markham Youth Council who pulled out all the stops to make it  fruitful for all who attended. All members of the community were welcome at the free, family friendly event that also featured special booths offering treats and sample giveaways. Children’s festival provides fun for kids of all ages

Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival returns August 26. The event features a wide variety of entertainment, play zones, crafts and other outdoor activities for children. Plan to enjoy a full day of fun at the Markham Civic Centre. The event runs from 10am to 6pm and offers lots of free activities, as well as a play-all-day pass for $10. City Hosts Junior Pan Am Badminton Championships

The Junior Pan Am Badminton Championships hosted over 250 athletes from 13 countries across the Pan Americas, with 85 representing Team Canada. Athletes competed within five different age categories with 44 Team Canada athletes hailing from the GTA.
