Exotic Car Show

Thousands of people flocked to Unionville Main Street for the inaugural Exotic Car Show on June 26. The afternoon was steaming hot, but the cars were even hotter. Lamborghini, Ferraris were some of the many exotic cars on display. There were also locals driving by the show, many in souped-up Porches and one in a dune-buggy. Wash for a Wish Car Wash

  On June 18, the third annual Krown Wash for a Wish Car Wash raised a grand total of $60,000 this year for The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. All funds raised have been donated to local chapters of Children’s Wish.   Held at participating Krown Rust Control locations across the country, Canadians received a hand car wash for $10. Fountain of Love and Life Annual Gala

Over 820 people from the Canadian Chinese Catholic community, including over 30 clergies/religious from different parishes, religious orders and ministries in and outside the Greater Toronto area, attended the Fountain of Love and Life (FLL) Annual Gala held in Markham on June 12 to raise funds for the lay apostolate. Thanks to the generous support of many guests/supporters, FLL has successfully raised over $154,000 in donations and pledges through this gala. Fake bomb threat call made from Aurora pay phone

On May 12, 2016 at 6:43 a.m. an unknown male suspect used a pay phone located at the GO Station on 121 Wellington Street East in the Town of Aurora to call in a fake bomb threat.
