Have you driven by the Markham Museum on a beautiful Wednesday evening and noticed a group of shiny chrome, antique, classic and custom vehicles?

That is the Markham Classic Cruisers and Friends gathered for fun, fellowship and the enjoyment of our unique vehicle.

It’s not just a group of pretty vehicles.  The Markham Classic Cruisers was started by a few individuals, meeting in a parking lot, talking about their beautiful vehicles about creating a club to bring people together for enjoyment and appreciation of a mutual automotive related hobby.  They also had

They also had a vision to utilize this club to raise money in support of local charities in the community and they had a thought that the club could support our seniors in the community by visiting seniors residences and care facilities, where they could reminisce about the vehicles of the past.

10 years later and they are still going strong.  They are an all-inclusive organization that welcomes classic, custom, special interest vehicles, including trucks, vans and motorcycles.

“We love our cars and we love our community,” says club president Eileen Baron. “We continue to raise money to support local charities in our community and we try and visit as many senior residences as possible in the season.”

The car show season runs from mid-May to mid-September and they‘ll be rollin’ every Wednesday evening at the Markham Museum, 6 p.m.- dusk.  So drop by, say hello and enjoy an evening while checking out some very unique vehicles.
