Where else in the city can you find four full days of diverse family fun, other than Markham Fair?
One of the oldest county fairs, the fair hosts close to 60,000 attendees, and includes a horse pull, demolition derby, tractor pull, freestyle motocross demonstrations, midway rides, live music and displays of farm animals.
This year, it takes place Sept. 29 until Oct. 2.
Cathy Lee, who is involved with promoting the Markham Fair, noted that “so many people love coming to the fair” and “just like ever year before, people will end up having a great time.”
Tickets are $15 for adults and children under five are free, and there is ample free parking.
