Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival returns August 26.

The event features a wide variety of entertainment, play zones, crafts and other outdoor activities for children.

Plan to enjoy a full day of fun at the Markham Civic Centre. The event runs from 10am to 6pm and offers lots of free activities, as well as a play-all-day pass for $10.

The $10 pass gets you access to exclusive rides and attractions, including horse-drawn wagon rides, little train rides and inflatable attractions.

This event includes the following free activities: entertainment featuring an impressive line-up of children’s performers; superheroes, Disney’s Moana and other mascots: an interactive marketplace showcasing family-oriented products and services; vendors selling foods from around the world; community activities including police and fire safety demonstrations; play zones, craft activities, face-painting, stilt walkers and fun-loving clowns.

Free shuttle service is available from Milliken Mills Community Centre and Library to the Markham Civic Centre.
